The 2021 Census day is 21st March 2021. By taking part you will make sure your community gets the services it needs.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) are the responsible body and they want to support and promote the whole process so that engagement is as high as possible.
ONS intend that this Census will be mainly online but realise that paper forms will be used by a sizable minority of respondents. There are particular concerns, especially in these COVID times, about accessing those harder to reach and less technically able residents, as well as those without access to the internet. ONS will offer a range of support services to make sure the census is as accessible and inclusive as possible.
Please see below some information that explains what the census is and why it matters to everyone.
For more information please visit the Census website home page.
Please be aware that no one from the ONS or Census 2021 will ever ask for payment to help anyone to fill in their questionnaire.
